Transport and traffic

Safer roads, stations and depots

Traffic enforcement with review, signal priority, stations and platforms watched for crowds, depots and fleet yards secured, and incidents handled the same way across the network.

  1. Stations, junctions and depots run RCC on site.
  2. The operations centre sees the whole network.
  3. A site whose link fails keeps recording and catches up later.

A typical day

A day on the network

  1. Morning peak

Platform 4 passes its density threshold. The SOP starts, and the station team is told before the platform is full.

  2. Midday

A violation at Junction 14 arrives with its clip and plate, and an officer confirms it before the e-challan is issued.

  3. Afternoon

A plate on a hotlist is read entering the bus depot, and the incident opens with the clip attached.

  4. Night

The north yard loses its link to the centre. It keeps recording, and catches up when the link returns.

Questions

What transport and traffic teams ask

Can each depot run on its own?

Yes. Every site runs RCC locally and keeps working when its link to the centre is down.

Is every violation checked by a person?

Yes. Every violation is confirmed or rejected by a person before a citation is issued, and citizens can dispute it with the evidence.

Can citations reach government systems?

Yes. A hub connects RCC to the government systems citations must reach, and a citizen portal lets people see, pay and dispute their citations.

Can stations and depots share one incident process?

Yes. Incidents are handled the same way across the network, with their video and evidence attached.
